Play Therapy

Play therapy is a form of therapy used primarily for children. It uses play as a means for children to explore emotions, thoughts, and experiences in a safe and non-directive environment.

While it may look like an ordinary playtime, play therapy is much more than that.  Therapists may use toys, games, and other creative activities to help children work through emotional, behavioral, or psychological challenges.

Through play, children can learn new coping mechanisms and how to redirect inappropriate behaviors.
